First Session Filmgroup

After the Blog is introduced we meet up in our Porjectgroups for the first time on the 8th of May. In the Filmgroup we begin to talk about our previous Experience. We have a wide spectrum of people that have experience with filming, with ethnographic films and people that are still new to this. We discuss, what we think makes a film ethnographic, what we should and what we must include. We also discuss what the difference is between the ethnographic film and an imagefilm and what needs to be included in it. After that, we talk about the technical requirements we need for our work, what we are provided with and what members of the group have. We are supposed to be provided with a camera, we can rent a camera at the university and we have members in the group that have access to cameras. We also discuss wether we need a tripod and micorphones. We ask ourselves how we can merge footage from different cameras, that may vary in quality.
After the conversation we try to talk to the Project Managment Group about to find out the plans of the other groups. It would help to make a filming plan, if we knew how they want to proceed. However, there was not enough time yet, to get organised, since it was the first time the Project Groups had met.
After a lunch break we meet up at the large multigenerational park across from the glashall. We try to sketch the park with ideas for projects, that could be accomplished here.
